Culinary Instructor

About the Role:
Culinary Clubhouse in Carle Place, NY is looking for a passionate and energetic Culinary Instructor to join our team! This is a fantastic opportunity to share your love of food and cooking with students of all ages in a fun, hands-on environment. Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead engaging, hands-on cooking classes for students of varying skill levels and age groups
• Demonstrate proper culinary techniques, knife skills, and kitchen safety protocols
• Develop and adapt lesson plans and recipes to align with class themes and seasonal menus
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen classroom environment
• Guide and support students throughout the cooking process, offering encouragement and instruction
• Assist with food prep, ingredient inventory, and kitchen supply management
• Collaborate with team members to create exciting new class concepts and programming

Requirements:

• Prior culinary experience, culinary arts education, or professional kitchen background preferred
• Experience teaching, tutoring, or working with children and/or adults in an instructional setting
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety, and kitchen best practices
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Enthusiastic, patient, and encouraging personality with a passion for food education
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, or flexible hours as needed
• Food handler's certification or ServSafe certification a plus
