What You'll Do
- Hands-On Experience: Master the art of creating exquisite cakes, pastries, garnishes, ice creams, and baked goods for our restaurant, banquet, and offsite catering.
- Station Rotation: Learn and excel at each station within our pastry department.
- Shadow Program: Gain insights by shadowing various food and beverage departments, including Harriman's, Gold Cup Wine Bar, In-Room Dining, and Banquets.
- Management Classes: Attend classes organized by our HR department to develop essential luxury industry management skills.
Essential Job Functions
- Prepare and present pastry items for buffet, banquet, and restaurant use.
- Set up, run, and break down lunch and dinner plating stations.
- Ensure the highest quality and consistency in all baked goods.
- Maintain proper storage and rotation of pastry items to ensure freshness.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in a culinary/pastry school program requiring an internship/externship for graduation.
- Ability to thrive in a high-paced environment.
- Available to work weekends and holidays
- Reliable transportation is a must.
