The Goddard School® located in Pearland (Pearland Parkway), TX is looking for a motivated, self-starter for an Assistant Director position at our School. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and a good understanding of a developmentally appropriate learning program for young children. In addition, the ideal candidate will possess the ability to motivate and inspire others.

Qualifications
Required or strongly preferred qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field preferred.
- At least two years of experience working in a licensed early childhood education program.
- Previous leadership, curriculum coordination, mentoring, or teacher-coaching experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices and early childhood development from infancy through Pre-K.
- Understanding of lesson planning, classroom observations, developmental assessment, and individualized instruction.
- Familiarity with Texas Child Care Regulation requirements and Texas Rising Star quality measures.
- Knowledge of Cognia accreditation and continuous improvement practices preferred.
- Familiarity with The Goddard School’s Wonder of Learning® curriculum and quality assurance expectations preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to provide constructive feedback, prioritize responsibilities, and follow through on improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications, digital documentation, and professional communication tools.
- Ability to meet applicable Texas employment, background check, training, and qualification requirements.

Compensation: $34,500.00 - $36,920.00 per year
