As a Custodial Services worker on our team, you'll take on the important job of keeping our operations and locations clean, so that our customers can stay happy and healthy. The best part? Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.
Work hours:
1st Shift- 6:55 am - 3:25 pm Monday - Friday.
2nd Shift - 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm Monday - Friday.
3rd Shift - 10:30 pm - 7:00 am Sunday - Thursday.
Holidays and Weekends are rotated.
Work location specifics:
Applicants must be able to pass a background check (2) for both Aramark and the Client.
Applicants must be able to pass a drug test.
Safety compliant.
Safety toed shoes and safety glasses are a requirement for the job.
Work shirts will be provided by Aramark.
New employees will be trained on dayshift for their first 90 days. This is to ensure that they know what is expected of them in case they are hired for the 2nd or 3rd shift. There is only 1 Aramark employee on 2nd and 3rd shifts.
Job Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
Cleaning restrooms (16) in the facility.
Cleaning offices, dusting, vacuuming carpets, and extracting carpets.
All employees will be forklift trained. Gondolas of trash or cardboard are emptied on each shift by use of a forklift. Picking up empty pallets on the production floor.
Cleaning any spills (could be water, coolant, or oil) on the production floor either by a mop and bucket, a mop and bucket with a heavy degreaser or by an industrial shop vac.
Berms around the machines need to be vacuumed out by use of an industrial shop vac.
Setting up tables and chairs for meetings in the auditorium.
Cleaning up after special event luncheons.
Pulling trash throughout the plant.
Cleaning the cafe and breakrooms, emptying the trash, wiping tables, sweeping, and mopping.
Stripping, waxing, floors in offices, aisleways, and breakrooms.

Qualifications
- Previous custodial experience preferred.
- Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals
- Maintains friendly, efficient, positive guest service demeanor towards guests, clients and co-workers
- Adaptable to guests' needs
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
