Custodian

DeForest Area School District is located just ten miles northeast of Madison in Dane County. We offer outstanding facilities and a competitive salary and benefits package. A Full-time position is available at Harvest Intermediate School.

Duties include a variety of cleaning tasks including to vacuum, sweep, mop, strip, wax and finish floors; clean carpets; empty trash; scour and sanitize restroom facilities, sinks and water fountains; snow removal; unload equipment, supplies and materials; set-up for activities and athletic events; check building and grounds for safely hazards; and monitor and maintain tools and building equipment condition; performs minor repairs; answers alarms and performs weekend security work.
