Assignment may include any/all of the District's facilities depending on District needs.Compensation: $19.50 - $27.36 Rate of pay plus shift differential commensurate with experience - per OAPSE negotiated agreementPosition Function:Under the direct supervision of the Director of Maintenance and Operations, performs general cleaning and maintenance in school buildings and grounds; maintains equipment in functional condition; and provide a clean and safe environment for students, staff, and community members.Effectively utilize necessary equipment to perform essential custodial job functionsUnload, transport and, maintain equipment, materials and suppliesAssist with district and community activity/event set up and clean upPerform seasonal duties including lawn/landscape care and snow removalPromote good safety practicesUses hand tools of the trade and related power equipment, including brooms, mops, floor cleaning and waxing machines, vacuum cleaners, snow removal equipment, power mower and hand toolsFollows all applicable safety rules, procedures, and regulations governing the proper use of tools and power equipment used in the performance of duties and the myriad of other duties as delineated in the Custodial II job descriptionOccasional requirement to lift and carry various items weighing a minimum of 30 poundsOccasional requirement to push and pull up to a maximum of 300 pounds (on wheels)Working Days:260 days less vacation and holidays, if applicable, as provided via the negotiated agreement with OAPSE Local #367.Summer Hours: Hours worked may be shifted according to District needs.Hours:Full-time position will equate to 40 hours per week.
