We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our client's team at National Cart Company. This position is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and organized workspaces throughout the facility, including production and office areas.
The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, a professional attitude, and takes pride in keeping facilities clean and well-maintained. Previous cleaning or custodial experience is a plus, but training is available for the right candidate!
Job Title: Custodian / Janitorial Worker
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: St. Charles, MO
Shift: 2nd Shift, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM (must be available to train on 1st shift for approximately one week)
Pay: $20.71/hour

Responsibilities
Clean and maintain production areas, offices, common areas, and other designated spaces
Sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize floors, surfaces, and work areas
Empty trash containers and properly dispose of waste
Clean and restock restrooms and shared spaces
Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies
Follow established cleaning procedures and workplace safety guidelines
Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards to supervisors
Complete assigned cleaning tasks efficiently and thoroughly
Assist with additional custodial duties as needed
Requirements
Previous custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or general cleaning experience preferred but not required
Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong communication skills
Reliable attendance, punctuality, and strong work ethic
Ability to work independently and follow instructions
Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment
Comfortable working in both manufacturing and office environments
Ability to perform physical cleaning tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting
Must be available for 2nd shift and potential 1st shift training
