Position Overview<\/b>
<\/p>
The Custom Finish Carpenter will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing millwork and wood products according to project specifications. This role requires strong woodworking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with custom designs, unique finishes, and challenging architectural requirements.

Key Responsibilities<\/b>
<\/p>
Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and project specifications to plan and execute custom builds.
<\/li>
Fabricate, cut, assemble, and finish millwork products including cabinetry, furniture, molding, and architectural woodwork.
<\/li>
Operate woodworking tools and equipment such as saws, planers, routers, and hand tools.
<\/li>
Ensure precision in measurements, joinery, and assembly to meet design intent and quality standards.
<\/li>
Collaborate with designers, engineers, and other shop staff to solve design and fabrication challenges.
<\/li>
Perform on -site installation of custom millwork as needed.
<\/li>
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
<\/li>
Inspect completed work for accuracy, quality, and craftsmanship.
<\/li><\/ul>

Qualifications<\/b>
<\/p>
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in carpentry or woodworking preferred.
<\/li>
3+ years of experience in carpentry, woodworking, or millwork fabrication.
<\/li>
Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and technical plans.
<\/li>
Skilled in woodworking techniques, joinery, and finishing methods.
<\/li>
Familiarity with a wide range of tools, machinery, and materials used in millwork.
<\/li>
Detail -oriented with a commitment to producing high -quality custom pieces.
<\/li>
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

All skills in Level 1, plus:

Custom desks (reception desks, nurse stations)
<\/li>
Custom benches, banquettes, etc.
<\/li>
Face frames
<\/li>
Other moderately complex custom woodworking products
<\/li>
Work productivity is average
<\/li>
Work quality is average
<\/li>
Collaborates with other departments within the company <\/span>

Finish Carpenter 3<\/b>
<\/p>
All skills in Level 2, plus:
<\/p>
Advance knowledge of finish carpentry and custom woodwork assembly

Other complex custom woodworking products

High level of competency for custom work

Requires some supervision
<\/li>
Work productivity is above average
