Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Custom Software Engineer for a Contract job with a client in San Francisco, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience in G3 Stack technologies, Automation & Integration Testing, Python, Java, AI tools, and backend system development, along with strong problem-solving and debugging capabilities.

Rate Range: $55/hour to $57/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Custom Software Engineer Job Responsibilities Include:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise software solutions utilizing G3 stack technologies, modern backend architectures, and scalable development practices.

• Develop and execute automation and integration testing frameworks to ensure application reliability, performance, and quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Build, enhance, and support applications using Python, Java, and related technologies while adhering to coding standards and best practices.

• Work with AI tools, machine learning technologies, MCP servers, and generative AI platforms to support workflow automation, application enhancements, and intelligent system capabilities.

• Collaborate with development, testing, architecture, and product teams to troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and resolve complex technical challenges.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

• Four to six years of experience in software development, automation testing, integration testing, or related engineering roles.

• Strong hands-on experience with Python and Java application development in enterprise environments.

• Experience working with G3 stack technologies and supporting enterprise-scale software systems.

• Proven expertise in automation testing, integration testing, test strategy development, and quality engineering practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with AI tools, AI models, MCP servers, and Generative AI technologies.

• Hands-on experience with Google Gemini and AI model tuning or optimization activities.

• Knowledge of machine learning concepts and AI-driven workflow automation solutions.

• Experience developing applications using Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies.

• Familiarity with backend architectures, distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native application development.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $57.00 per hour
