Customer Account Coordinator

Our client, a leading in the corrugated sheet industry, is seeking a Customer Account Coordinator to join their team. As a Customer Account Coordinator, you will be part of the customer support and order coordination function, supporting sales, manufacturing, and shipping operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong professional communication, action-oriented follow-through, and resilience under changing priorities—skills that will help you manage multiple customer accounts while supporting on-time deliveries.

Job Title: Customer Account Coordinator

Location: Roanoke, VA

Pay Range: $22 - $24  per hour

Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

What's the Job?

• Take customer orders either directly from customers or account managers, ensuring accuracy and timely entry.
• Estimate and enter orders, and place orders for purchases of materials and supplies needed for production.
• Communicate with customers regarding order status, quotations, order changes and confirmations, and address complaints or questions professionally.
• Process purchase orders, coordinate account credits, and maintain customer data to support smooth operations.
• Work with production staff and utilize the KIWI system to help achieve on-time customer deliveries.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of two years of customer relations experience; preferably 1+ years industry-specific customer relations experience.
• Strong professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong basic math skills to support order and purchasing accuracy.
• Preferred experience working in a manufacturing environment and/or utilizing an ERP system to manage customer and/or order information.
