Customer Onboarding Sales Representative – State Farm Agent Team Member

Salary Range: $45,000 - $75,000 (Base + Commission + Bonus)
Do you enjoy helping people, building relationships, and making sure customers have a great first experience? Jeff Jantz – State Farm Agency is looking for a friendly, organized, and customer-focused team member to help welcome new customers and guide them through the onboarding process.
In this role, you'll help new customers get started with their insurance coverage, answer questions, follow up on next steps, and make the transition into our agency as smooth as possible. What You'll Do
- Establish relationships with new customer and help them get started with their State Farm insurance policies.
- Contact customers by phone, email, and other communication channels to follow up on onboarding needs.
- Explain basic policy information, documentation requirements, and next steps.
- Help customers navigate paperwork, account setup, and policy-related questions.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate with team members to ensure a smooth customer experience.
- Identify opportunities to help customers with additional insurance needs and connect them with the appropriate team member.
- Maintain accurate customer records and follow up on outstanding items.
- Deliver friendly, professional service that builds trust and long-term customer relationships.
What We're Looking For
- Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- A friendly, professional approach and a genuine interest in helping people.
- Good organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
- Comfort communicating with customers by phone and managing multiple tasks.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn agency systems.
- An active Texas Property and Casualty insurance license or the ability to obtain the required license.
- Previous customer service, administrative, sales, or insurance experience is helpful but not required.
- Spanish-speaking skills are preferred but not required.
