Customer Onboarding Specialist

Your Mission:

As a Customer Onboarding Specialist, you own the implementation experience for new customers joining Inspiration. You are responsible for transforming signed agreements into successful operational launches by coordinating teams, managing onboarding timelines, facilitating customer readiness, and ensuring every stakeholder is prepared for go-live.

You serve as the project leader throughout onboarding, creating a seamless transition from Sales to Customer Success while ensuring customers receive a structured, professional, and highly organized experience. Your success is measured by our customers' confidence, implementation quality, adoption readiness, and ability to achieve value quickly after launch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead onboarding projects for new customers from contract execution through go-live
• Develop and manage project plans, implementation timelines, milestones, and customer deliverables
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure onboarding activities are completed accurately and on schedule
• Proactively identify implementation risks, dependencies, blockers and drive timely resolution
• Gather and validate customer requirements, operational workflows, fleet data, and required documentation
• Coordinate system configuration, data collection, integrations, reporting requirements, and service enrollments
• Plan and deliver onboarding training sessions for fleet managers, administrators, drivers, and other stakeholders
• Maintain onboarding guides, templates, training materials, customer documentation, and best practices
• Surface opportunities for onboarding process efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability

Who You Are:

• You have 3+ years of experience in customer onboarding, implementation, project management, customer success, operations, or a related role.
• You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrive managing multiple projects and deadlines.
• You are comfortable leading customer-facing meetings and communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
• You proactively identify risks and take ownership of driving projects to successful completion.
• You excel at building relationships and collaborating across teams.
• You have strong written and verbal communication skills and can synthesize complex information into clear action plans and updates.
• You are adaptable, resourceful, and energized by helping build processes in a fast-growing environment.
• You have experience with project management and AI tools such as Rocketlane, Jira, Salesforce, and Claude are a plus.

Salary: $75000 - $85000/year + Bonus

Location: This role is remote eligible. However, we have an office in Washington, DC. Our in-office teams come together for collaborative work in the office Tuesday through Thursday and work remotely on Monday and Friday.
