BMW/MINI of Annapolis is part of Group 1 Automotive, a Fortune 250 company and a leading automotive retailer, is seeking an Automotive Customer Relations Specialist to join our team!

 

We are looking for a motivated, customer-focused professional to support our vehicle acquisition operations. This position focuses on outbound customer communication, scheduling appointments, identifying potential trade-in opportunities, and providing administrative support throughout the vehicle acquisition process. This is not a Sales position.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct outbound calls to customers to schedule appointments and promote available dealership services.

• Introduce vehicle trade-in and purchase opportunities during customer conversations to generate interest.

• Follow up with customers who miss scheduled appointments to encourage rescheduling.

• Coordinate with dealership personnel to connect interested customers with the appropriate team members.

• Assist with customer paperwork and documentation when customers elect to sell their vehicles to the dealership.

• Maintain accurate customer records, appointment details, and follow-up activities in dealership systems.

• Provide professional, friendly customer service while building positive customer relationships.

• Support daily administrative functions and ensure timely communication between departments.

Qualifications:

• Previous customer service, call center, appointment scheduling, or administrative experience preferred.

• Automotive dealership experience is a plus but not required.

• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with confidence making outbound calls.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to engage customers, build rapport, and identify opportunities through conversation.

• Comfortable using computers, customer management systems, and Microsoft Office

• High school diploma or equivalent

Compensation: The expected salary for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/ an hour plus bonus.
