We’re Looking for a Customer Retention Specialist
You might be a great fit at Jake Haifley State Farm if…
- You’re really good with people. Not “I can make small talk” good—people trust you, open up to you, and know you’ll follow through good.
- When something goes wrong, you don’t panic. You’re usually the calm person in the room saying, “Okay, let’s figure this out.”
- You believe great customer service means more than answering a question—it means owning the problem until it’s solved.
- You’re a great listener, but you’re also comfortable taking the lead and helping someone make a decision.
- You notice details other people miss and have a hard time leaving loose ends untied.
- You enjoy building real relationships and would rather have customers who know your name than feel like just another account number.
- You like being part of a team that works hard, has high expectations, and still has some fun along the way.

A Little About Us
At
Jake Haifley State Farm, insurance is what we do—but taking care of people is really the job.
We’ve built our agency around relationships, follow-through, and being there when our customers need us. Sometimes that means helping someone through a difficult claim. Sometimes it’s finding a better way to protect their family. And sometimes it’s simply picking up the phone, listening, and solving a problem.
We care about doing things the right way, taking great care of our customers, and creating an office where talented people can grow.
What You’ll Own
As our
Customer Retention Specialist, you’ll play a big role in keeping our customers happy, informed, and connected to our agency.
You’ll:
- Build relationships with existing customers and help make sure they continue to feel valued.
- Proactively reach out regarding renewals, policy changes, and account needs.
- Review customer accounts, identify concerns, and help find solutions before small issues become big ones.
- Help customers better understand their coverage and available options.
- Take ownership of customer issues and follow them through to resolution.
- Look for opportunities to improve the overall customer experience.
- Keep accurate notes and documentation so nothing falls through the cracks.
- Work closely with the rest of our team to achieve agency retention and growth goals.
Who We’re Looking For
Insurance experience is great, but
being great with people is more important.
Our ideal candidate is:
- Warm, confident, and an excellent communicator.
- Naturally organized and dependable.
- A strong problem-solver who doesn’t need to be told every next step.
- Comfortable having meaningful conversations with customers.
- Someone who takes pride in following through on what they say they’ll do.
- Team-oriented, positive, and willing to jump in when needed.
- Experienced in customer service, account management, or relationship-based work—or ready to learn.
- Able to obtain the applicable state insurance licenses.
The Bottom Line
We’re not looking for someone to simply answer phones and process requests.
We’re looking for someone our customers will know, trust, and want to call.
If you take pride in taking care of people, enjoy solving problems, and want to become an important part of a growing insurance agency, we’d love to meet you.
