Customer Service Associate - Tallahassee, FL

Position Overview

Work Type: Full time, onsite, contract to hire

Compensation: $19-21/hr

We are seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team in Tallahassee, FL. This is a fully onsite, temp-to-perm opportunity supporting a high-volume customer service department. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can effectively manage multiple systems and tasks while handling inbound calls. Responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of inbound customer calls in a queue-based environment.

• Respond to customer inquiries professionally and efficiently while meeting service-level expectations.

• Accurately document customer interactions, update records, and complete related administrative tasks.

• Navigate multiple systems simultaneously while speaking with customers.

• Transfer calls and escalate issues as appropriate.

• Meet key performance metrics for call response times, call handling, and productivity.

• Collaborate with supervisors, managers, and team members to ensure excellent customer service.

• Maintain professionalism and a positive customer experience in a fast-paced call center setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• 1+ years of customer service, call center, or high-volume phone support experience preferred.

• Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage calls, documentation, and multiple systems simultaneously.

• Proficiency with computer systems and data entry.

• Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.

• Finance, insurance, or related industry experience is a plus but not required.

Pay Details: $19.00 to $20.00 per hour
