Location: Arlington, Virginia

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Contract Duration: 6 months with the possibility for extension

Pay Rate: $18-20 per hour on a W2 Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dependable Customer Service Associate who can work independently while demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and strong organizational skills. The ideal candidate is confident, proactive, customer-focused, and comfortable knowing when to independently resolve an issue and when to seek assistance. This individual should have a strong bias for action, identify recurring customer concerns, and help address underlying issues to improve the overall customer experience. Strong technical aptitude, internet research skills, and familiarity with online tools are also important for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional, customer-focused support while demonstrating strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Work independently to research and resolve customer concerns while escalating issues when appropriate.
• Proactively identify recurring or systemic customer issues that may require further resolution.
• Communicate confidently and professionally with customers, team members, and upper-level management.
• Demonstrate strong collaboration, teamwork, organization, and follow-through.
• Utilize online tools, internet research, email, chat, and Microsoft Office to support daily responsibilities.
• Learn new processes and systems quickly while maintaining a high level of professionalism and dependability.

Basic Qualifications

• Confidence working with upper-level management on a regular basis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with maturity and self-confidence.
• Demonstrated success in customer service, fast learning, problem-solving, collaboration, and teamwork.
• Strong familiarity with online shopping and internet research.
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office, email, chat, and internet-based tools.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to successfully complete required pre-employment assessment and criminal background check.

Preferred Qualifications

• College degree.
• 1+ year of customer service experience.
• Previous face-to-face customer interaction and/or call center experience preferred.
