Customer Service & Billing Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service & Billing Specialist with experience reviewing client invoices, auditing billing accuracy, correcting discrepancies, and processing rebilling requests. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to resolve billing issues while maintaining accurate records and positive client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and audit client invoices to ensure billing accuracy and completeness.
• Identify discrepancies, incorrect charges, and billing errors.
• Make necessary corrections to invoices and process rebilling to clients.
• Communicate with clients and internal departments to research and resolve billing questions.
• Verify supporting documentation, pricing, and billing information before invoices are finalized.
• Maintain accurate billing records and documentation of adjustments.
• Follow up on outstanding billing issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Provide professional and responsive customer service to clients.
• Assist with additional administrative and billing-related duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, billing, invoicing, or accounts receivable.
• Experience auditing invoices, identifying discrepancies, and processing billing corrections or rebilling.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and follow-up skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience using billing or accounting software.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is customer-focused, analytical, and highly organized, with the ability to investigate billing discrepancies, correct errors, and ensure clients receive accurate invoices. Experience handling invoice adjustments and rebilling is essential.

Pay Details: $26.00 to $28.00 per hour
