HireLevel is looking for a Customer Service / Production Assistant for a well-established insurance agency in Ridgway, Illinois. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, brings positive energy to the workplace, and wants to build a career in the insurance industry.
The ideal candidate will be personable, organized, and comfortable assisting customers both in person and over the phone. No insurance license is required to start. The agency will support the selected candidate in obtaining a Property & Casualty (P&C) License after hire.
Location: Ridway, IL.
Shift: Monday-Friday 8 AM- 4PM, 1 hour lunch
Compensation: $18.00-$20.00/hour

Responsibilities of the Customer Service/Production Assistant:
- Greet customers and visitors in a friendly, professional manner.
- Answer incoming calls using strong phone etiquette and direct inquiries appropriately.
- Provide helpful, attentive service to customers in person and by phone.
- Work with customers to update insurance and account information accurately.
- Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
- Support front-office operations, scheduling, communications, and administrative tasks.
- Learn and use the agency’s Navigator system.
- Collaborate with agency staff and contribute to a welcoming office environment.
Requirements of Customer Service/Production Assistant:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous customer service, retail, receptionist, or office experience is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication skills and professional phone etiquette.
- Friendly, outgoing, and personable approach with customers.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and basic computer skills.
- Ability to multitask and maintain accuracy in a busy front-office setting.
Training and Career Development:
- On-the-job training provided.
- Level Up classes and training on the Navigator system.
- Employer support to help the selected candidate obtain a Property & Casualty License after hire.
