Customer Service Production Associate

Location: Kearney, NE
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Schedule: Variable schedule, including some evenings, weekends and holidays

Job Summary

Associated Staffing is hiring a Customer Service Production Associate in Kearney, NE! If you enjoy helping customers, staying active and working in a team-oriented retail environment, this could be a great opportunity for you!

In this position, you'll assist customers, operate a cash register, sort and prepare donated merchandise for sale, stock the sales floor and help maintain a clean, organized store.

Job Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful customer service.

• Operate a cash register, process purchases and accurately handle payments.

• Sort, organize, price and prepare donated merchandise for sale.

• Stock shelves and move merchandise to the sales floor.

• Identify and process items for recycling or other appropriate handling.

• Keep the sales floor, work areas and surrounding areas clean, organized and safe.

• Inform customers about current promotions, discounts and store specials.

• Ask customers about rounding up their purchases to support store programs.

• Assist with opening and closing duties as requested.

• Follow company policies, procedures and workplace safety guidelines.

• Work cooperatively with team members to meet daily store goals.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service or retail experience preferred.

• Cash register and cash-handling experience preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Friendly, positive attitude and willingness to assist customers.

• Ability to follow directions and work well with others.

• Basic math skills and ability to accurately handle money.

• Dependable with good attendance and a strong work ethic.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

• Willingness to assist with a variety of retail and production tasks.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the workday.

• Ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 pounds with frequent lifting of up to 25 pounds.

• Ability to perform physical tasks such as sorting, stocking and moving merchandise.

• Ability to safely move throughout the store and work areas.

Schedule & Pay

• Pay: $15.00/hr

• Schedule: Variable hours throughout a seven-day week

• Availability: Some evenings, weekends and holidays required
