Customer Service Represenative

PAY: $18–$20 per hour

LOCATION: Seaside, OR

SCHEDULE: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week. Eight-hour shifts scheduled between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Assist customers in person, by phone, and by email with product questions, pricing, availability, and orders.
• Recommend building materials and related products based on customer needs.
• Prepare material estimates and quotes for smaller projects, including decks, fences, stairs, and sheds.
• Enter customer orders, coordinate deliveries, and follow up to ensure accuracy.
• Help with inventory, stocking, merchandising, and keeping the yard organized and safe.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months of experience in retail, sales, or customer service. Home improvement retail experience, such as working in a hardware or home improvement store, is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of construction, building materials, tools, or mechanical products is helpful.
• Ability to learn product information, assist customers with material selections, and prepare basic project estimates.
• Willingness to learn material handling equipment and assist with general yard operations.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods and regularly bend, kneel, and reach.
• Able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 80 pounds.
• Willing to learn to operate forklifts and pallet jacks with proper training and safety procedures.
