Job Description
Goldenrod Corporation is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support its manufacturing operations in Beacon Falls, CT. This role serves as a key point of contact for customers, coordinating orders, delivery timelines, and internal communication across production, sales, and shipping. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment.
This is a hands-on customer service role within a manufacturing setting — not a call center position.
Core Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries via phone and email
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Coordinate with production, shipping, and sales teams to ensure on-time delivery
- Track order status and provide proactive updates to customers
- Resolve order discrepancies, shipping issues, and customer concerns
- Maintain accurate customer and order records in internal systems
- Support internal teams with customer-related documentation and follow-up
Qualifications
- Previous customer service or order management experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a manufacturing or office environment
Preferred Experience
- Manufacturing or industrial customer service background
- Experience with ERP or order entry systems
- Familiarity working cross-functionally with production and shipping teams
