Customer Service Representative

Overview
Our client is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support service technicians and customers by handling service and sales orders, answering product-related inquiries, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires prior experience in a call center environment and a background in parts or manufacturing.
Responsibilities
Handle inbound and outbound calls in a high-volume call center environment
Respond to customer and service technician inquiries via phone and email in a timely and professional manner
Provide accurate product and technical information while ensuring compliance with company policies
Assist customers with identifying correct part numbers and product solutions
Enter and manage sales orders within OMS/WMS systems
Prepare quotes, order confirmations, and shipment tracking details
Maintain and update customer records and files
Recommend corrective actions or services to resolve customer concerns and complaints
Follow up on open inquiries to ensure resolution and customer satisfaction
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments to resolve issues
Supervisory Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service or call center environment
Prior experience working in a parts, manufacturing, or industrial environment is required
Experience with OMS/WMS systems
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to read blueprints
Experience supporting service technicians or technical teams
Pay Details: $21.00 to $25.00 per hour
