A Day in the Life at All Temp

Your day starts on the phones, where you're the first friendly voice a Chicagoland homeowner hears when their heat or AC needs help.

You'll listen, figure out what they need, and turn that call into a booked appointment with clear next steps.

In between calls, you'll work with dispatch and our techs to keep the schedule full and let customers know about any changes.

Our family is still involved in the business every day, so leadership knows you, listens to your ideas, and notices when you go the extra mile.

Our offices are in Chicago and Bolingbrook, Illinois.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Answering calls promptly and making every customer feel valued
• Booking appointments and collecting accurate customer and equipment details
• Spotting urgent calls and explaining appointment windows and diagnostic fees
• Working with dispatchers, techs, and office staff to keep the schedule running smoothly
• Letting customers know about delays or changes
• Returning missed calls and following up on unbooked inquiries
• Scheduling maintenance visits and renewing maintenance agreements
• Following through on customer concerns until they're resolved

Who We're Looking For:

You're friendly, positive, and you truly enjoy helping people.

You're dependable and organized, and you stay calm when the phones get busy in peak season.

Beyond that:

• Strong phone, listening, and communication skills
• Punctual and accountable
• Detail-oriented and comfortable multitasking
• Willing to learn, take feedback, and follow company procedures
• Comfortable entering customer info and call notes accurately

Schedule:

Full-time hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with Saturdays when it's busy.

Part-time is welcome too, with 3 workdays during the week.
