Timken Gears and Services Philadelphia Gear brand is seeking a Customer Service Representative based out of our Mokena, IL regional service center. This position supports all customer-related activities related to in-house orders as assigned.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Gather and record cost information from historical data, supplier quotes, and internal manufacturing resources; create cost estimates and apply appropriate margins to costs to create quotes
• Work with production and engineering departments to understand scope of Inspect & Repair orders to develop quotes and inspection reports
• Ensure consistent cross-regional pricing is applied to quotes using history
• Ensure that customer commercial terms & conditions and quality requirements are properly negotiated and included in order entry information and that the service center complies with those requirements
• Support Supply Chain activities, expedite and purchase items as required
• Primary liason maintaining relationships between Sales/ Customers and internal production resources
• Coordination of customer requirements (visits, documentation, etc.) based on customer requests
• Understand and communicate order status as necessary, working with Engineering and Production to achieve On Time Delivery
• Function in a teamwork atmosphere for all endeavors

Basic Qualifications:

• Applicant must have a bachelors degree and a minimum of 3 years of customer service experience, or high school diploma and 5+ years of experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Epicor
