Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our manufacturing team in Reno, NV. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers by processing orders, coordinating shipments, answering product questions, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has experience in customer service within a manufacturing or automotive environment, enjoys problem-solving, and thrives in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and manage customer orders from start to finish.
  • Proactively monitor orders to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Coordinate product shipments with internal departments.
  • Answer incoming customer calls and respond to inquiries professionally.
  • Provide technical support and follow up on quality-related concerns.
  • Communicate potential backorders and shipping delays to customers.
  • Collaborate with production, materials, and shipping teams to resolve customer issues.
  • Learn company products, systems, and customer portals.
  • Maintain accurate customer work instructions and documentation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred.
  • Manufacturing or automotive industry experience preferred.
  • General knowledge of automotive parts is a plus.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to professionally resolve customer concerns and complaints.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Docs.
  • ERP/MRP system experience is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

Physical Requirements

  • Regularly lift, move, and package materials weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and use hands throughout the workday.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels.
