Location: Raleigh, NC
Pay: 18–22/hour, based on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–2:30 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid break
Employment Type: Part-Time, Temp-to-Hire

Atlantic Staffing Consultants seeks an experienced Customer Service Representative/Service Dispatcher for a busy plumbing, HVAC, and electrical service company in Raleigh, NC.

We are especially interested in candidates with experience in construction, skilled trades, logistics, dispatching, or field service operations. The ideal candidate understands the demands of coordinating field personnel, managing changing schedules, and communicating effectively with customers and technicians.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer customer calls, schedule service appointments, and respond to inquiries.

• Coordinate and dispatch technicians to service locations.

• Manage daily schedules, prioritize urgent requests, and adjust appointments as needed.

• Communicate service updates, arrival times, and scheduling changes to customers.

• Coordinate preventive maintenance, service agreements, and recurring appointments.

• Maintain accurate work orders, customer records, and service documentation.

• Follow up on open service calls, estimates, and customer concerns.

• Work closely with technicians and management to keep operations running efficiently.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, skilled trades, logistics, transportation, or field service environments strongly preferred.

• Previous experience in customer service, dispatching, scheduling, or service coordination.

• Familiarity with plumbing, HVAC, electrical, general contracting, equipment rental, or similar service-based businesses is a plus.

• Ability to coordinate multiple schedules and adapt quickly to changing priorities.

• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

• Comfortable using computers, scheduling software, and customer management systems.

• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal Backgrounds: Service Dispatcher, Construction Office Coordinator, Logistics Coordinator, Service Scheduler, Field Service Coordinator, Dispatch Assistant, or Customer Service Representative supporting field operations.
