With 30+ years of established service, our
State Farm Insurance Agency is seeking an
Insurance Licensed Customer Service Rep - State Farm Agent Team Member to support existing customers and grow the business through meaningful relationship conversations.
This role involves inbound and outbound customer contact, outreach, relationship maintenance, and proactive conversations to drive retention and additional sales.
Licensing: Insurance Producer Licenses are required, though not mandatory—if you don’t have them, we’ll help guide you on how to obtain the necessary licenses.

Responsibilities:- Contact customers for renewals, coverage options, and ongoing support
- Review policies/accounts and recommend updates to address coverage gaps
- Cross-sell additional products based on customer needs
- Identify opportunities to improve satisfaction and engagement
- Provide timely quotes and follow up within the same business day when possible
- Maintain accurate customer records and documentation
- Prioritize and manage workflow to ensure efficient, accurate processing
- Represent the agency at occasional community events
- Build a referral network center of influence and generate leads
- Create and contribute to customer reviews (including social media)
Qualifications:- Illinois Property & Casualty and Life & Health Insurance Licenses required (must possess or be able to acquire asap)
- Insurance agency knowledge and experience helpful
- Strong communication skills (verbal + written) and persuasive customer conversations
- Natural relationship-builder—friendly, empathetic, and patient
- Calm under pressure; proactive problem-solver
- Coachable with a positive, “can-do” attitude
- Reliable, strong work ethic, and fast learner
- Comfortable handling phone/computer work all day
- Prefer candidates who are within a 30-minute commute to our office
Office hours:
Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (no evenings/no weekends)
