Customer Service Specialist (Contract)

Waltham, MA | Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm | Contract through 12/31/2026

Join our high-performing team as a Customer Service Specialist, where you'll play a vital part in delivering exceptional support to both internal and external customers. Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by efficiently processing transactions in line with company guidelines and customer specifications.
• Maintain and update customer account information using Salesforce, ERP, and related applications.
• Proactively communicate order status, delivery updates, and invoicing details to customers and business development managers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and order delays quickly and effectively.
• Monitor and respond to customer feedback, ensuring any issues are addressed and detailed reports are provided.
• Manage inbound customer calls, voicemails, and direct inquiries to the appropriate teams.
• Identify and recommend process improvements for greater efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 2 years' proven success in a customer service role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Excellent organization and multitasking abilities.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience within the Life Sciences industry.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
