About the Role:Mey's Insurance Services is looking for a motivated and personable Customer Service Representative with an Insurance emphasis to join our team in Jurupa Valley, CA. As a Customer Service Representative with Mey's Insurance Services you will generate the kind of exceptional customer experiences that reinforce the growth of a successful insurance business. If you have good attention to detail, customer service skills, and a desire to help people, you are an ideal candidate! This is an in person position. Please note this is a Customer Service heavy position, not a sales position.
Responsibilities:- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to insurance products and services
- Answer phone calls and process over the phone and in person payments
- Make insurance policy renewal and cancelation reminder phone calls
- Answer customer inquiries and delegate requests to appropiate team member
- Maintain and update customer records in the company database
- Collaborate with insurance carriers and internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention
- Data Entry
Experience Requirements:- Prior experience in customer service, preferably within the insurance industry
- Bilingual in English/Spanish skills prefered
- Customer Service heavy position, not a sales position
- Basic knowledge of insurance products, terminology, and basic coverage principles prefered
- California Personal Lines license a plus, but not required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Must be available for Saturday work rotation
