Customer Service Representative – Part-Time (Remote)

Position Summary

We are seeking a professional, dependable Customer Service Representative for a long-term, part-time remote opportunity. This position supports a 24/7 customer service center handling inbound and outbound calls, emails, and chats for clients across municipalities, manufacturing, utilities, facilities, and emergency dispatch services.

Candidates must be self-motivated, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle high volumes of inbound and outbound customer calls, emails, and chats.

• Respond to customer inquiries, service requests, and dispatch-related issues.

• Accurately document interactions and maintain detailed notes in CRM systems.

• Communicate professionally with customers through phone, email, and chat.

• Support service requests involving municipal services, facilities, alarms, sanitation, water, and wastewater operations.

• Manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and customer satisfaction.

• Work independently in a distraction-free home office environment.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service or call center experience preferred.

• Excellent written communication, grammar, and professional email skills required.

• Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems such as Salesforce.

• Ability to handle high call volumes, potentially 70+ inbound calls daily, along with outbound communications.

• Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Flexibility to work 2nd or 3rd shifts, including Saturdays and Sundays.

• Reliable internet connection with a minimum speed of 50 Mbps (required).

• Dedicated, distraction-free home office.

• Desk large enough to accommodate two 25-inch monitors and an ergonomic office chair.

• Company-provided laptop and additional necessary equipment.
