Pay: $18–$20 per hour, based on experience
Job Type: Full-Time, 35–40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9 AM–6 PM; Saturday, 10 AM–2 PM. Saturday availability required; weekday off when working Saturday.
About the Role
PostNet Oak Forest is hiring a hands-on Customer Service Team Lead to support our Center Manager, guide coworkers, and provide excellent service. You'll work directly with customers while helping with shipping, mailbox services, basic file corrections, and print production.
We value leadership, sound judgment, strong computer skills, and attention to detail. Shipping experience is not required; we provide training.
Responsibilities
- Lead by example and help train and support team members.
- Assist the Center Manager with daily workflow, service standards, and opening/closing tasks.
- Help customers with UPS, FedEx, DHL, and USPS shipments, packaging, and mailbox services.
- Recommend appropriate shipping, printing, and business solutions.
- Resolve routine customer concerns and process orders and payments accurately.
- Review customer files, make basic PDF edits, resize artwork, and prepare files for printing.
- Assist with digital printing, finishing, and quality checks.
- Maintain accurate records and a clean, organized center.
Required Qualifications
- At least two years of customer-facing experience.
- Experience training coworkers, leading a shift, or coordinating daily work.
- Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable using email, computers, and multiple software applications.
- Reliable, organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Available Saturdays, 10 AM–2 PM.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Team lead or shift supervisor experience.
- Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar software.
- Experience editing PDFs, adjusting artwork, or producing printed materials.
- Shipping, packaging, printing, or office services experience.
Advanced graphic design skills are not required. Training on our equipment and procedures is provided.
