Washington Athletics has an outstanding opportunity for an Usher on Football Game Days to join their Customer Service Team.
Customer Service Team members are required for a variety of University and Athletic Department events. Team members fill multiple staffing posts - ushers, guards, & ticket takers - that may vary from event to event and are responsible for providing a safe, fun and memorable environment for our guests. The Customer Service Team serves our fans, supporters, alumni, the university community, media outlets and each other. The staff ensures that events are conducted in a manner consistent with University guidelines, the conference, and NCAA policies and procedures.
The Usher on Football Game Days is a temporary, part-time position for the Husky Football Stadium Customer Service Team, which requires availability for seven Husky Football Games in the fall. Opportunities to work other Athletic Department events may be available.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Exceed all guests expectations with customer service and satisfaction. The Customer Service Team is WELCOMING, MOTIVATED, KNOWLEDGEABLE, ACCOUNTABLE and GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND.
Provide access control, crowd management, and ensure the venue is safe for guests.
Understand University of Washington policies and procedures.
Understand emergency procedures for both medical and evacuation purposes.
Specific job duties include but are not limited to:
Comprehensive knowledge of the Customer Service Team handbook and relevant game day information.
Attend annual Customer Service Team training sessions.
Complete additional duties as assigned.
