Overview:
Under the direction of the Supervisor, the Customer Service Representative is responsible for scheduling patient appointments and managing the clinical medical records system. The Customer Service Representative will serve as a liaison between patients and hospital staff.
Qualifications:
Required Education:
High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred Education:
Completion of a Medical Terminology course.
Necessary Skills:
1. Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
2. Ability to handle stressful situation in a professional and courteous manner.
3. Basic understanding of medical terminology.
Required Experience:
One to two (1-2) years customer service experience.
Preferred Experience:
Two (2) years of customer service experience in a health care related industry.
Age of Patient Served:
All Age Groups.
