Customs Clerk

We're looking for a detail-oriented Customs Entry Writer to prepare and file import entries. Candidates will review shipping documents, classify goods, and transmit entries through ACE.

Will prepare and process import/export documentation to ensure shipments comply with government regulations

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and transmit entry and entry summary filings in ACE using the company's brokerage logistics software

• Review commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and other shipping documents for accuracy and completeness

• Communicate and assist internal teams with customs requests

• Track entries' monitor freight movement, handle release and holds

• Agency compliance; coordinate with Partner Government Agencies (PGA's)

• Maintain organized records in line with Customs recordkeeping requirements

Required Qualifications

• Integrity and willingness to learn

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Clear written and verbal communication skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with ocean, air, and or truck logistics

• Familiarity with customs entries and PGA filings

• Associate degree or higher in international business, logistics, or a related field

• Bi-Lingual Knows Chinese
