  • Monitor and manage patients utilizing advanced cardiac assist devices, such as intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP) and Impella pumps.
  • Serve as a clinical leader on the floor, providing direction and collaborative support to RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and ancillary hospital staff.
  • Collaborate closely with Providers, Charge Nurses, and nurse leadership to implement evidence-based care plans and thorough discharge planning.
  • Maintain meticulous, timely electronic documentation of patient status, interventions, and clinical outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred).
  • Licensure: Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Montana (or immediate compact/endorsement eligibility).
  • Certifications: Core certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) are required. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) must be obtained within 6 months of hire. EPNC and TNCC certifications are highly preferred.
  • Required Experience: Proven post-graduate clinical practice in an advanced Medical/Surgical unit coupled with recent Critical Care/ICU nursing experience specifically involving cardiovascular surgery patients.

  • Soft Skills: Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset.

Benefits:

  • $25,000.00 Retention Bonus to support your long-term transition and commitment to the team. (Please note: This incentive is available for external candidates only)
  • Highly desirable schedule consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week (3x12s), allowing for 4 days off weekly.

  • Abundant long-term professional growth and clinical ladder advancement opportunities within an innovative healthcare system.
