What You’ll Do

• Scrub for CVOR, thoracic, vascular, and general OR procedures
• Assist with cardiac & vascular surgeries such as CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, valve replacements, etc.
• Follow aseptic techniques and maintain sterile fields
• Reprocess cardiovascular/thoracic instruments
• Document procedures and equipment usage in electronic charting systems like EPIC
• Work closely with circulating staff and respond to call requirements during night shifts
• Adhere to crash cart procedures and support team readiness during trauma cases

What You Need
Required:

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) with at least 5 years of total experience
• 2+ years of cardiac and vascular surgical experience
• 1+ year CVOR experience in a Level I Trauma facility
• BLS certification

Preferred:

• Experience with cardiovascular and thoracic instruments
• Strong aseptic technique and equipment documentation skills
