Responsibilities: for the Cyber Operations Planner include: Lead and support Future Operations (FUOPS), deliberate planning, and crisis action planning activities utilizing the Joint Planning Process (JPP). Develop, author, and coordinate CONOPS, Commander's Estimates, BPLANS, CONPLANS, OPLANS, and mission-type orders supporting defensive cyberspace operations. Collaborate with Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, Service Cyber Components, agencies, and subordinate commands to synchronize cyber planning efforts. Conduct operational assessments, develop effectiveness measures, and support campaign planning for defensive cyberspace operations. Brief Senior Executive Service (SES) and General Officer/Flag Officer (GO/FO) leadership on operational plans, cyber initiatives, and mission outcomes. Required Qualifications for the Cyber Operations Planner include: 8+ years of experience supporting military, joint, cyber, or operational planning environments. Working knowledge of Joint Publication 3-12 (Cyberspace Operations), JP 3-0 (Operations), and JP 5-0 (Joint Planning). Demonstrated experience integrating multiple stakeholder inputs and developing operational plans in complex environments. Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience). Active DoD TS/SCI clearance with eligibility for a Counterintelligence Polygraph. Joint Professional Military Education (JPME I) certification/qualification. Preferred Qualifications for the Cyber Operations Planner include: Experience supporting DISA and DoD network operations. Completion of military cyber planning courses such as ACOPC, JCOPC, or JACWC. Industry certifications including Security+, Network+, CISSP, or CISM. Understanding of Directive Authority for Cyberspace Operations (DACO). Qualifications: for the Cyber Operations Planner include: 8+ years of experience supporting military, joint, cyber, or operational planning environments. Working knowledge of Joint Publication 3-12 (Cyberspace Operations), JP 3-0 (Operations), and JP 5-0 (Joint Planning).
