THE WORK

As a Cyber RF Software Engineer Senior Staff, my typical day is filled with excitement and energy as I tackle a variety of challenges and responsibilities. Each day as a team lead, I oversee one or more software development teams and ensure that our work is excellent and matches or exceeds the outline of the software development process being used on any particular project. I''m passionate about mentoring and guiding my team members, and I enjoy watching them grow and develop their skills.

Usually each day includes consulting and analyzing user requirements and translating that information to build software design and performance requirements. I love digging into complex problems and finding creative solutions, and I''m always looking for ways to improve our software development process.

When I''m not designing and coding new software or modifying existing code to add new features, I''m debugging existing software and correcting defects. I''m meticulous about my work, and I take pride in ensuring that our software is reliable and efficient. I also make recommendations for improving our documentation and software development process standards, because I believe that''s essential to delivering high-quality products.

I''m also responsible for integrating existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments, which requires a deep understanding of C++, K8, Python 3.0, GIT, and CI/CD pipeline. I''m super familiar with Agile Sprint Development methodologies, and I''ve worked on a range of projects that involve Digital Signal Processing and related RF technologies. Basic Qualifications

Active security clearance with polygraph.

Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with a DSP focus from an accredited institution.

Equivalency: MS in Engineering/CS + 2 years experience OR 4 years DSP experience + high school diploma

Minimum 4 years of experience developing DSP algorithms on projects that follow established software processes.

Minimum 4 years of professional programming experience using C++, Linux, Python (or comparable languages).

Desired Skills

Programming Languages:

• C++ experience

DevOps and Cloud Technologies:

• Kubernetes (K8) experience
• CI/CD pipeline experience

Version Control and Collaboration:

• GIT experience

Software Development Methodologies:

• Agile / Sprint Development experience

Digital Signal Processing (DSP):

• Signal Experience: DSP (Digital Signal Processing)
• Short Burst Duration/Hopping DSP detect / processing/MUX Signals

Signal Detection and Processing Techniques:

• Energy Detection / Channelization
• DSS (Digital Signal Synthesizer)
• Current US Security Clearance
• RF protocol experience (i.e. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, LTE, 5G)
• RF Applications experience
• RF Signal Processing experience

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $110300.00 - $204900.00

Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate''s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market(work location) and business considerations when extending an offer.

• Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
• For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
