• Title: Cytotechnologist
• Facility: Mease Countryside Hospital (*Occasional travel to other BayCare facilities may be required for coverage)
• Schedule: Full Time
• Shift: 7:30AM - 4:00PM
• Weekend Work: Occasional
• On Call: No

Responsibilities:

• Perform cytotechnology testing.
• Assisting with the preparation of cytology specimens and fine needle aspirations.
• Classifying and evaluating specimens and referring cases to pathologists.
• Maintaining laboratory equipment, supplies and instrumentation.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Bachelor's degree requirement may be waived if certified prior to 1985).

Required Licensure/Certification:

• ASCP certification
• State of Florida Clinical Laboratory licensure - Cytology

Preferred Experience:

• 2 years of experience in Cytotechnology
