    Description

    DAS Senior RF Engineer needs 4+ years experience

    DAS Senior RF Engineer requires:

    • iBWave Level 2 certification required. iBWave Level 3 preferred.
    • Must have experience and expertise in creating designs in iBWave with multiple OEMs, be able to independently manage services vendor companies,
    • Must also be able to work collaboratively with Sales and other cross functional teams.
    • Strong communication and work ethic is essential for success in this role.

    DAS Senior RF Engineer duties:

    • Define appropriate network architecture and equipment for each project.
    • Lead customer technical meetings to establish technical requirements and scopes of work.
    • Define design and system performance requirements.
    • Create and review designs using engineering tools such as iBWave and ATOLL
    • Direct or perform system testing utilizing scanners, spectrum analyzers, power meters, optical test equipment and other testing tools.
    • Provide advanced troubleshooting for system faults, alarms and performance degradation.
    • Analyze and summarize test data to evaluate performance against key performance indicators (KPIs). Optimize networks to meet contracted KPIs.
    • Facilitate timely and effective customer communication through regular meetings, reporting, site visits and conference calls.
    • Manage and direct contract resources, temporary technical staffing and vendors to perform engineering services in compliance with contracted timelines and approved budgets.
    • Manage multiple projects and provide regular status updates and progress reports to customers and management.
    • Prepare and submit testing reports, close-out packages and acceptance documentation. Compile and maintain all project documentation in accordance with policies and procedures.
    • Interact with property owners and other stakeholders and their representatives.
    • Prepare technical design and testing standards as assigned.
    • May, depending on project, manage contractors/vendors, ensuring work is performed in accordance with company's standards
