Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Data & AI Solution Architect who blends solution architecture with a product mindset, someone who can lead client workstreams, shape practical architectures, and help build market facing assets that grow pipeline and credibility in Houston.
This role is ideal for a high agency consultant who enjoys client facing delivery and practice building: thought leadership, events, offerings, and proposals.

Role Summary:

• Provides solution architecture development, consultancy and assurance, ensuring applications conform to Shell standards and reference architectures. The role supports a six week GoA JV Audit Data & AI feasibility engagement.

• Project / business context

• GoA JV Audit (Data and AI Services): validate feasibility, map the audit process end to end, confirm data/integration readiness, and demonstrate through a working POC that AI enabled capabilities can work with available data before major infrastructure investment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and assure solution architecture for projects and translate Shell standards into practical designs.

• Provide technical recommendations, identify new technology opportunities and support reuse of architecture assets.

• Use Shell architecture tools and reference roadmaps across cloud, integration, mobile, open source and big data.

• Engage senior business stakeholders and communicate architecture decisions clearly.

Key Skills / Experience:

• Strong stakeholder management and proactive cross team communication.

• Strong written/verbal communication and ability to tailor content to the audience.

• Ability to connect business value to technical architecture.

• Solution evaluation, integration architecture and AI enabled POC architecture.
