Data Analyst
Location: Quincy, MA - Hybrid
We are hiring a Data Analyst for our client located in the Quincy, MA area. This position supports enterprise applications and data/reporting platforms, including Snowflake, Tableau, and a large-scale enterprise invoicing and service management system. The role works closely with application architects, developers, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to support technical solutions, platform administration, production operations, and reporting needs.

Key Responsibilities
Support application architecture, technical design, system enhancements, and implementation planning.
Troubleshoot application, database, integration, infrastructure, and batch-processing issues.
Support application deployments, upgrades, configurations, production releases, and ongoing system operations.
Administer Snowflake environments, including databases, schemas, warehouses, user access, permissions, performance, and cost optimization.
Administer Tableau Server and/or Tableau Cloud, including users, permissions, data sources, dashboards, extracts, schedules, and performance monitoring.
Develop and support SQL queries, reports, scripts, and data solutions.
Perform database troubleshooting, query tuning, data reconciliation, and performance optimization.
Support UNIX/Linux administration, shell scripting, application integrations, and cloud environments.
Maintain technical documentation, operating procedures, and system diagrams.
Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to resolve issues, communicate status, and maintain reliable, secure systems.
Support production operations and participate in on-call activities as required.
Experience with several of the following technologies and areas is preferred:
Snowflake administration and performance optimization
Tableau Server and/or Tableau Cloud administration
SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle, and SQL Server
Java and enterprise application development
UNIX/Linux and shell scripting
AWS and cloud environments
Database administration, query tuning, and enterprise reporting
Application interfaces, system integrations, XML/XSLT, and service-oriented architecture
Production application support and batch processing
HIPAA/HL7 environments
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
Five or more years of IT experience in application development, systems analysis, database administration, platform administration, or production support.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple assignments independently while collaborating with senior technical resources and cross-functional teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-focused approach.
