Summary: 

• Defines how data is stored, consumed, integrated, and managed across data entities, IT systems, and processing applications.

• Designs and implements data solutions by defining database physical and virtual structures, functional capabilities, security, backup, and recovery specifications.

• Performs data modeling, data architecture mapping, and data governance for data at rest.

• Works across the data solution lifecycle including data analysis and profiling, conceptual, logical, and physical data model design, and ETL, reporting, and analytics architecture.

• Ensures organizational compliance with formal data standards and alignment of data assets with data architecture and business goals.

• Maintains metadata registry, oversees data management, and optimizes databases and data sources.

• Tracks the state of data used for Enterprise Gap and Common reports across multiple go-lives using 1Enterprise Mx and legacy data.

• Captures and tracks legacy and Enterprise models and associated data, and confirms correct data usage within transitional architectures.

• Tracks data needs from legacy end-user data platforms and ensures data is fit for purpose and correct data is retained.

• Transforms legacy data models to Enterprise data models and builds data catalogs.

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• Past work experience with Data Governance for an enterprise business transformation.

• Experience working across a federated data governance team.

• Prior work experience performing in an agile environment.

• Experience with Data Stewardship, Oversight, Compliance, and Risk or Issues.

• Experience with Data Governance tasking including Coordination, Data Cataloging, Data Lineage, Analytics or Data Warehouse tracking, Data Quality, and Data Quality Tracking.

• Experience tracking the inventory and usage of data through an enterprise modernization transformation.

• Experience capturing and tracking legacy and Enterprise data models and associated data.

• Experience confirming correct data usage within transitional architectures and dispositioning legacy data customizations.

• Experience building data catalogs and ensuring understanding of Enterprise and Business Area data meaning and purpose.
