Data Analyst - Sr

Title: Data Analyst
Location: Mclean, VA - hybrid 
Duration: 6 months 
Pay Rate: $50 - $55 hr. W2

Innovation
Act as key data lead to leverage versatile technical capabilities to drive the development, evolution, and implementation of data products for the risk organization
Research and Client authoritative sources of data for upcoming portfolios
Execute and monitor data processes that deliver critical data to partners and regulators and clear transformation requirements to engineers

Data Management
Evaluate data management, data quality and data access processes for gaps, inefficiencies and opportunities; provide recommendations for improvement
Perform data mapping and profiling to enable data end users to more easily transition to using new systems

Our ideal candidate will have:
Degree specialized in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics discipline
Experience with Python, SQL, Unix/Linux, Databricks and Github
Autonomous and self-motivation to solve problems and communicate/coordinate across various teams to prioritize our data needs and influence outcomes

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
At least 3 years of experience in Python and SQL
At least 1 year of experience with Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS products
At least 3 years of experience in querying, analyzing, and working with data languages and platforms

Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics discipline
1+ years of experience working with and demonstrating knowledge of data governance, data quality
management concepts
1+ years of experience working with Agile development methodologies
