Introduction

We are seeking a skilled professional to design, maintain, improve, and expand the physical infrastructure of a data center. The ideal candidate will have expertise in critical power and cooling systems, capacity management, infrastructure projects, and operational resiliency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong working knowledge of data center critical infrastructure, including mechanical, electrical, and/or structured cabling systems, with an engineering or technical discipline background.
  • Experience supporting budgets and cost controls for data center projects and infrastructure operations, including exposure to capital projects and vendor cost management.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with Real Estate, Critical Systems, Construction, and Technology teams to deliver infrastructure projects and operational outcomes.
  • Proven ability to lead or significantly contribute to data center infrastructure engineering and design activities, including interpreting design standards, supporting technical contract requirements, and identifying implementation risks.
  • Experience delivering technical solutions that meet defined availability, redundancy, quality, and budget requirements.
  • Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Typically 5 years of experience in Data Center, Critical Systems, or related infrastructure engineering disciplines.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting data center engineering, construction, upgrades, or integration activities within a large or multi site environment.
  • Experience leading teams or workstreams and collaborating with cross functional partners, with the ability to influence peers, project stakeholders, and vendors.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Design, maintain, and improve the physical infrastructure of the data center.
  • Conduct capacity planning for power, space, and cooling.
  • Collaborate with construction teams, utilities, vendors, and facility stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
