Data Center Project Manager

A respected general contractor is building out its mission-critical group here and wants a Data Center Project Manager who loves technical work and good teamwork. What You'll Do

- Run data center projects from preconstruction and buyout through construction, commissioning and closeout

- Manage the budget, schedule, subcontracts, change orders and monthly owner billing

- Be the go-to point of contact for owners, design teams and trade partners

- Plan and track long-lead equipment like switchgear, generators, UPS and cooling systems

- Partner with field leadership on safety, quality, site logistics and integrated systems testing

- Help coach assistant project managers and project engineers on the team

What You Bring

- Project management experience with a general contractor, including data center or mission-critical work (required)

- Solid knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, MEP coordination and commissioning

- A history of keeping complex projects safe, on schedule and on budget

- Strong communication skills and a positive, collaborative approach

- A degree in construction management, engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience

- Based in or willing to relocate to the Pittsburgh area
