    Description

    The Data Collection Supervisor will help manage Tesla's Optimus data collection team and be an expert on our data collection workflows. This role requires an elevated level of flexibility, ability to lead a team, review and manage data collection output. Onsite presence is required at main location and other surrounding facilities.

    Schedule available is 6:00AM - 4:30PM; Monday - Thursday

    • Plan and coordinate data collection schedules and activities across workflows and locations
    • Monitor equipment health and performance, and be a point of contact between the data collection/engineering/technician teams
    • Review/Approve operator timecards/expense reports/travel requests and schedule shifts for Data Collection Operators
    • Monitor data collection metrics and use them to inform operator performance management
    • Conduct regular data audits to identify and correct errors or discrepancies
    • Recommend and implement process improvements or new tools to enhance data collection efficiency
    • Experience managing and motivating hourly teams and ability to match project tasks with opportunities for employee development
    • Strong problem-solving skills, with an aptitude for quickly learning systems
    • Proven track record executing and meeting sensitive deadlines
    • Experience managing multiple competing projects with limited resources and highly flexible attitude that adapts to rapid changes in a growing environment
    • Understand when to delegate and allocate responsibilities to manage projects end-to-end
    • Strong communication and presentation skills - can explain complicated topics and ideas in a clear and concise manner
