Monday through Friday - Eastern Timezone, fully remote

Primary Job Duties:

Data Architect/Data Engineer - This technical role bridges Finance and IT by transforming complex business data requirements into actionable technical solutions. The resource will prototype, validate, and optimize finance data workflows (bronze gold layers) within Microsoft Fabric and Power BI environments. This role is critical for enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of analytical models supporting Finance operations (e.g., CTD, PSG Eagle, AR Invoice Reporting).

Key Responsibilities

Partner with Finance teams to translate business requirements into data models and transformations.

Prototype and test ETL logic prior to IT implementation, ensuring alignment with Finance's analytical needs.

Develop, optimize, and document finance data models within Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.

Support data validation and model refinement for core workflows (CTD, PSG Eagle, AR, etc.).

Collaborate with IT to operationalize approved models into production ETL processes.

Identify and address data quality, lineage, and transformation inconsistencies.

Required Skills

Strong technical proficiency in Python, SQL, and Power BI.

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric or similar data engineering platforms.

Strong understanding of ETL development, data modeling, and validation techniques.

Ability to work collaboratively with Finance and IT stakeholders to ensure alignment.

Analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

Background in data engineering, data science, or business intelligence within Finance or analytics-focused teams.

Familiarity with data lakehouse architectures and bronze/silver/gold ETL paradigms.

Experience with finance reporting and performance metrics analysis.
