Now Hiring: Cash Applications Specialist – Houston, TX
Location: Houston, TX – Jersey Village Area
Pay: $19–$24/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Full-time | On-site
Start Date: As soon as possible

Hire Up Staffing is seeking an experienced Cash Applications Specialist for an opportunity in the Jersey Village area of Houston. This is a 100% on-site position, so candidates must be able to reliably commute to this area each workday. This position is not hybrid or remote.
Key Responsibilities

• 
  Process incoming customer payments, including checks and electronic payments
  
• 
  Accurately post cash and apply payments to the appropriate customer accounts
  
• 
  Handle electronic and manual remittance transactions
  
• 
  Perform high-volume financial data entry with a strong focus on accuracy
  
• 
  Research and resolve discrepancies as needed
  
• 
  Communicate with internal collectors and customers regarding payment application and account accuracy
  

Qualifications

• 
  Minimum 2 years of office experience in cash applications, payment processing, or a position involving high-volume data entry
  
• 
  Ten-key speed of at least 6,000 KSPH by touch with 95%+ accuracy
  
• 
  Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  
• 
  Dependable, organized, and able to keep up in a high-volume environment
  
• 
  Experience with financial systems or ERP software is a plus
  
• 
  Must be able to commute daily to the Jersey Village area of Houston
  

Compensation
Pay ranges from $19–$24/hour based on experience and qualifications. Candidates should include their minimum hourly pay requirement when applying.
