Data Entry Clerk
Pay: $20 – $25 per hour
Location: Near Clifton Park, NY (on site)
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM, with overtime during busy periods

The Opportunity

Our client is looking for an accurate, dependable data entry professional to keep information flowing smoothly across the office. You'll be the person who makes sure production paperwork is entered correctly and on time, and you'll lend a hand to several departments along the way. It's a good fit for a detail-minded person who likes variety, enjoys being useful to many teams, and takes pride in getting things right.

What You'll Be Doing

• Entering a high volume of data for several office departments
• Gathering, organizing, and double-checking information, with a focus on daily production work tickets
• Verifying work order details so the production team has what it needs
• Answering phones as backup, greeting visitors, and handling incoming mail
• Filing paperwork, copying, and scanning documents
• Using standard office equipment and helping other departments with additional tasks and projects as needed

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED
• 1–2 years of data entry experience
• Sharp attention to detail and basic math skills
• Comfort with computers, including looking up, monitoring, and entering information in an ERP system
• Solid experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook
• The ability to handle large volumes of data accurately
• Good organization, the ability to juggle priorities, and composure when things get busy
• A professional, collaborative style, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn quickly

Work Setting

• On-site office position with standard daytime hours and occasional overtime in high-volume periods
• Prolonged sitting, fine motor skills, and good vision required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
